A request, a verified offer, then a decision

Produce is physical and variable. So we separate what you ask for from what we can actually commit to. Here is the whole path, including the parts most platforms leave vague.

  1. 1Request
  2. 2Verification
  3. 3Offer
  4. 4Accept
  5. 5Fulfil

Five steps, no surprises left out

Each step has an owner, a visible status and a record. Nothing jumps straight from a button click to “confirmed”.

  1. Step 01

    Build a request basket

Add lots and quantities. Fixed-price lots show an indicative unit price; quotation lots show “price on request”. You can add a note per line — grade, packaging, timing.

    Guest checkout. No account needed.

  2. Step 02

    Tell us the delivery terms

Choose company-arranged delivery or store collection, then give an address, a landmark and a preferred date. Charges are not guessed at this point; they are quoted.

Landmarks matter more than street names for drivers.

  3. Step 03

    We verify the lot

Staff check the physical quantity, grade, moisture or quality records, and whether the lot is in our store or still with the farmer. This is why a request is not an order.

No stock is reserved by submitting a request.

  4. Step 04

    You receive a written offer

Line by line: quantity, unit price, charges, delivery method, validity date and a note explaining anything that changed. If we revise it, you get a new version and can still see the old one.

Acceptance applies to one specific version.

  5. Step 05

    Accept, pay, follow fulfilment

Accept the offer with its exact terms, then pay by mobile money or card. Delivery or collection is tracked separately from payment.

Payment status is confirmed before fulfilment starts.

What our availability labels actually mean

We never present sourced produce as physical stock. The distinction changes what you can plan around.

Confirmed available

Confirmed available

Counted and graded in our store. The quantity is real at the time of listing, though it is re-checked when your request is reviewed.

Best for orders you need to schedule now.

Sourced to order

Sourced to order

Still held by the farmer or co-operative. We have a working relationship with the source, but quantity and grade are expectations until checked.

Allow extra time before an offer is sent.

Availability to be confirmed

Availability to be confirmed

Seasonal, harvest-dependent or otherwise uncertain. Ask us to check before you make commitments to your own customers.

Not suitable for fixed-date contracts without confirmation.

Revised does not mean rewritten

A revised offer creates a new version. The earlier version stays in your account exactly as it was sent, with its own quantities, prices and validity date. If you accepted version 2, that is the version on record — not whatever the latest one happens to be.

  • Every revision states what changed and why.
  • Acceptance applies to one version and its terms.
  • Expired offers must be refreshed, not silently accepted.
  • Declining has no cost and no stock effect.

Example revision

v2 current
Version 11,000 kg · TZS 850/kg
Total TZS 895,000
Version 2500 kg · TZS 870/kg
Total TZS 480,000

Reason recorded: only 500 kg remained after quality re-check; unit price adjusted after re-grading. Delivery charge unchanged.

Two ways to receive your produce

Both are quoted explicitly. We do not hide transport inside a unit price.

Company-arranged delivery

We quote a delivery line based on volume, route, vehicle and offloading needs. The driver uses your landmark. Delivery timing is confirmed against the accepted offer.

Collection from a store

No delivery charge. The offer tells you which store holds the lot and when it will be ready. Bring the order reference and a contact ID.

Paying for an order

Payment happens after you accept an offer, by mobile money or card, in TZS. We never ask for a card PIN, OTP or CVV outside the checkout screen, and delivery or collection stays itemised separately from the goods on your receipt.
